What is ChiropracTIC? When I think of ChiropracTIC, I immediately think TOCK. Then TIC, back to TOCK. TIC-TOCK, TIC-TOCK. Are you visualizing a clock? It’s the steadiness of the clock- its motion that let’s you know that it’s functioning. Put your hand to your chest. Feel that steady “lub-dub”? That in a sense is ChiropracTIC. ChiropracTIC is about the motion of life. Motion is a function and every function of our body- from the beating of our hearts to the wiggling of our fingers- runs off electricity. This electricity is produced by the nerve system. The area that harnesses and organizes that electricity is the brainstem. Brainstem tissue is housed in the two top bones of our necks- called the atlas and the axis bones. When the brainstem functions properly, the entire body can function properly since every organ, gland and tissue connects with this important region through millions of nerve tracts. When this area is not able to function at its best- the entire body can suffer. A direct interference to this area is called a vertebral subluxation. A vertebral subluxation interferes with the motion of life. So maybe instead of the heart with a steady “lub-dub”, the interference could result in a “lub-lub-dub”. A vertebral subluxation can result in any number of depleted functions and/or conditions. A vertebral subluxation effects with your ability to reach your true health potential. At OHIO Specific Chiropractic, I have focused training at analyzing and correcting this interference to your nerve system.
