1. Chiropractic Care

Chiropractic adjustments help remove a major obstruction to health and vitality. Vertebral Subluxations of the upper cervical spine, create functional disruptions in the connection and communication between the Nerve and Immune Systems. Current scientific research is actually starting to even label them as one system, the Neuroimmune System. Correcting a Vertebral Subluxation helps optimize the Neuroimmune response, thus allowing a greater expression of health.

2. Reduce Stress Levels

The 24-hour news cycle doesn’t have your health in mind with their constant “doom and gloom.”  When our body is exposed to chronic stress, it can tax our Immune System to the point of exhaustion. When our natural defenses are down, pathogens such as bacteria and viruses can wreak havoc on our body. Contemplative practices such as meditation or prayer and spending quality time with family and friends have been shown to lower stress levels.

3. Get Plenty of Sleep

Our body does a great deal of its healing during our sleeping hours, repairing and restoring disruptions that occurred throughout the day. Sleep also helps reduce stress levels as well as revitalize our Neuroimmune System.

4. Avoid Alcohol

While sometimes we feel the need to raise a glass to toast the end of the world, our Neuroimmune System does not function at its best when intoxicated. Not only that, but it also dehydrates the body, effecting all cell functions.

5. Get Plenty of Exercise

Exercise not only works our muscles, it also gives our Neuroimmune System a workout as well. Physical activity such as exercise can stimulate the Immune System keeping it in peak condition.

6. Drink Lots of Water

Water is an essential ingredient to life here on planet Earth. All the trillions of cells that make up our human body are mostly water. Keeping them hydrated keeps them at their best.

7. Reduce Sugar Consumption

Pathogens such as bacteria and viruses love sugar, especially refined sugar. Not only that, it forces our Neuroimmune System to work overtime, creating a weakness in its function.

8. Vitamin D

Essential nutrients such as Vitamin D are your Neurommune System’s best friend. Fresh air and sunshine is the best way to get Vitamin D into your body. Spending time with Nature is essential to your health.

9. Eat Healthy

The old adage: You are what you eat is true. Fresh, organic, whole foods provide the greatest amount of energy to our body. Sustaining our body with natural, healthy food helps keep our Neuroimmune System vital.

And vitality is what it is all about when it comes to health. Now this is just a primer into ways to promote Immune health.
